Adjustable Weapon Belt
The plate carrier is made in OD Green, polyester 1000D and thick nylon fabric with a special thread structure, which has water-repellent impregnation and polyurethane coating (Cordura) were used for its manufacture. The model is universal due to the possibility of height and volume adjustment: for this, velcro fasteners are provided on the front and back panels, as well as on the shoulder pads.
MOLLE Fasteners for Accessories
The plate carrier has MOLLE fasteners – nylon straps rows. This system of connecting and arranging equipment among themselves is used by modern NATO armed forces, in particular, the US Army. Basically, it allows you to conveniently fix, remove and rearrange the subbags for magazines, means of navigation and communication and other military equipment and accessories by interweaving the straps.
Additional Subbags
In addition to individual protection, the plate carrier is used as a unloading vest for storing the necessary equipment, in particular: magazines with ammunition, communication and navigation equipment, first aid kits, etc. 2E Assault comes with two universal subbags with MOLLE fasteners (12 × 17 × 6 cm) that attach to the sides, two elastic subbags that hold one magazine each, and one for three magazines. All «pockets» for magazines also have MOLLE fasteners, as well as straps for fixation.
